Project Manager

Overview:
The company seeks an organized, detail oriented Project Manager. At a high level, the position requires the candidate to:

  • Manage multiple projects.
  • Develop and implement business solutions that meet customer requirements, budget and timeframe.

Reports to:
Chief Operating Officer, Ovex Technologies Pakistan Operations.

Work Location:
Islamabad

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan & lead multiple projects.
  • Fair Exposure to “Customer Engagement methodologies” .
  • Plan & manage customer implementation projects.
  • Manage human resources, financial resources, deal with crisis management when necessary, maintain the budget for the project and ensure calendar of events is followed and respected.
  • Ensure that the products and services delivers are as per customer expectations and specifications.
  • Ensure efficient management of all activities and deliverables during projects.
  • Actively participate in product development programs.

Personal Attributes:

  • Written and oral communication should to be at the highest level – from a technical and business perspective.
  • Should be able to prepare high end documentation for customers.
  • Should be diligent, creative, with “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to perform effectively under stressful conditions such as directional changes, tight deadlines, limited resources, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in conceptualization, implementation and deployment of information systems.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in project management.
  • Bachelor degree in administration, technology or engineering.
  • Project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams is an asset.
  • A certificate in project management and/or the PMP certification are an important asset.
  • Experience and knowledge of MS-Project is a plus.
  • Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendation.
  • Strong analytical ability and proven problem solving capabilities. Able to develop innovative solutions when problems arise.
  • Excellent research skills; resourceful at every level .
  • Responsible and highly motivated self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision .
  • Excellent written and oral skills; ability to clearly communicate at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, very adaptable to ever-changing requirements.
  • Able/willing to travel as needed in performance of job duties.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to identify business opportunities and make them happen.
